Common questions

Do you clean trash cans, and is there a minimum?

Yes, and no — the $80 minimum is for pressure washing and does not apply to bins. Trash can cleaning is $15 a month for up to two bins on a four-week cycle, $25 a clean quarterly, or $35 for a one-time deep clean. Extra bins are $8 each per visit. If we are already at your place washing a driveway, it is $10 a bin.

Where does the dirty water from the bins go?

Back with us. The wash water is caught and taken away rather than run into the gutter. Rinsing food waste into a storm drain is illegal in Salt Lake County, and it ends up in the creek — so it is not something we would do quietly and hope nobody noticed.

How much does pressure washing cost?

It depends on the size of the surface and how bad the staining is, so there is no single number that would be honest. What we can tell you is the minimum: $80 for driveway washing and for patio or deck cleaning. Trash can cleaning is priced separately and has no minimum. Bigger jobs are quoted after we see them, and the quote is free.

Why is there a minimum?

Because a job costs the same to drive to, set up and pack down whether the surface is small or large. The minimum covers that, and it means we are not pricing tiny jobs by pretending the drive was free.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and there is no obligation. Most of the time a couple of photos and the approximate size are enough to give you a number over the phone.

How long does a driveway take?

A typical two-car driveway is usually done inside a couple of hours including pre-treatment and rinse-off. Heavily stained or larger concrete takes longer, and we will tell you that when we quote rather than rushing it on the day.

Will pressure washing damage my concrete or decking?

Not when the pressure is matched to the surface. Concrete flatwork takes a surface cleaner comfortably. Wood decking, composite and some older mortar do not, so those get low pressure or a soft wash instead. If a surface should be left alone we will say so.

Do you need my water or power?

We use an outside tap for water. Everything else we bring. If your outside taps are shut off or there is no easy access, let us know beforehand and we will plan for it.

Can you get oil stains out?

Often, if they are pre-treated and given time. Fresh oil usually comes up well. Oil that has been soaking into porous concrete for years may lighten rather than disappear, and we would rather tell you that before you pay than after.

What areas do you serve?

Draper and the surrounding valley — Sandy, Riverton, South Jordan, Bluffdale, Herriman, West Jordan, Cottonwood Heights, and down into Lehi, Highland, Alpine and American Fork. If you are just outside that, ask anyway.

Are you insured?

Yes. Ask and we will send the certificate before we book anything.
